Our new multichannel analytics capability aims to place data at your fingertips. With powerful, interactive data visualisations, users can derive valuable insights and take a much more data-driven approach to improving their business outcomes.

Getting started

In the main header navigation bar you will see a new 'Analytics' icon. Clicking on this will load in the Analytics page, which is where you will find your dashboards.

Within the sidebar you will then be able to navigate to both your ‘Orders’, and ‘Stock’ dashboards in ChannelGrabber.

Orders – An overview of all your unarchived Orders & Revenue data.

Stock – An overview of your current Inventory position.

DASHBOARD FUNCTIONALITY

Before going into the individual charts, lets quickly run through some of the useful functionality we have available to you across this feature!

Exporting your dashboards

Clicking on the ‘Save’ icon on the grey banner at the bottom of the page will allow you to save your dashboard as an image, either via PDF or PNG.

Once your dashboard has been downloaded you could then simply save it to your computer and email it out to others (manually for now), should you wish to!

Applying custom date filters

When accessing the orders dashboard, you will notice the date filter at the top.

This is a custom date filter that allows you to choose the date range you would like the data to reflect. The default setting is 'All' dates across all of your unarchived orders, however, you can also choose some of the popular pre built data ranges using the drop down.

After choosing a date filter it will appear in the filter bar as below. To revert the dashboard back to its original settings, click on the ‘x’ icon on the far right hand side of the bar, in order to remove any active date filters that are applied across the dashboard.

You can also filter your inventory dashboard by Supplier, in much the same way.

Downloading individual charts/reports

When clicking on the download icon on applicable charts you will be able to

  • Download via CSV - this will download the raw data points behind the chart into a CSV format.

  • Download via XLSX - this will download the raw data points behind the chart into an excel format.

  • Save as PNG - this will download the chart into a PNG image.

Data point filtering

Within the charts you are able to hover over specific data points as below to see a snapshot summary.

If you click on a particular part of a chart then an active filter will appear across the dashboard based on that data point, for example, you may want to see information on all dispatched orders only. Clicking on dispatched orders in the order status chart will dynamically change your dashboard & reports to view data on your dispatched orders only - pretty handy, right?

Beware - you need to remember to remove any filters applied on your charts using the 'clear filter' button, to revert your dashboard back to the standard view.

Now we have discussed all the main functionality within the dashboards, let’s talk about each chart and what valuable information each one can bring to the table!

  • Revenue of order

  • Margin of order (Revenue minus cost of units) - this is a great opportunity to start saving cost prices, if you don't already.

The report is currently on a collapsed view, however, you can expand the view by simply clicking on the expand icon in the order ID column. This will then give you a breakdown of SKUs.

Please note that currently the Revenue and Margin columns can only be shown as a total value and so with duplicate when expanding the view - we are working on splitting these down for a future iteration!

Chart: "Stock Level status”

If you don’t have low stock thresholds set, then stock will be classed as ‘In stock’ by default, unless it has an available count of 0 or less, in which case it will be classed as 'Out of Stock'.

Report: "Rate of Sales report”

The table by default is automatically sorted based on the highest revenue down, however, you can choose to sort this table in whichever way you want to, by simply interacting with the column headers.

You can also filter the report by Date, Account or individual SKU by interacting with the filter bars at the top of the report. Handy if you want a snapshot view of a particular item!
