What hardware do I need to run Cloud Commerce Pro?
One of the benefits of Cloud Commerce Pro is that it does not require a high-specification computer to run the EPOS software.
Minimum Requirement
The main requirement is simply that the device you intend to use can comfortably run Windows 10.
Cloud Commerce Pro is a relatively lightweight application, so you do not need a particularly powerful or high-end computer. If your Windows 10 PC is capable of running Windows 10 comfortably for normal day-to-day use, it should have no problem running the EPOS software.
In simple terms:
If it runs Windows 10 comfortably, it should be suitable for Cloud Commerce Pro.
Do I need a touchscreen till?
No. A touchscreen is not required for Cloud Commerce Pro.
The software can be operated using a standard Windows PC, laptop, monitor, keyboard and mouse.
However, many customers choose a touchscreen EPOS system because it provides a more traditional and convenient till experience.
Do I need a cash drawer?
No. A cash drawer is not essential for the software to function.
If you are taking cash payments, however, a compatible cash drawer is likely to be a useful addition to your EPOS setup.

Do I need a receipt printer?
No. A receipt printer is also not required for Cloud Commerce Pro to operate.
If you would like to provide customers with printed receipts, you can add a compatible receipt printer to your setup.

Can I use my existing computer?
In many cases, yes.
If you already have a Windows 10 computer that you would like to use, there is no requirement to purchase a dedicated EPOS till.
You can simply install and run Cloud Commerce Pro on your existing Windows machine, provided it can comfortably run Windows 10.
This means you can start with a basic setup and add dedicated EPOS hardware later if required.
