Customers sometimes place multiple separate orders when ordering through services like eBay or Amazon. Use grouped shipments to combine multiple orders to the same person to create a single courier shipment for multiple orders. A Suitable courier rule will be re-calculated for these combined shipments.

There is also a video guide here:

1. Select the orders

Select the orders you wish to combine.

2. Select the grouped shipments menu

Select the grouped shipments menu from the actions menu at the top of the page.

3. Confirm the primary delivery address

CCP analyses the orders and adds up all the weights and dimensions and then you will be presented with a confirmation screen. On here you can select the primary order address if any of them differ slightly. Usually the default address selected is fine.

4. Select the shipping service

You can select a shipping service manually if you are not happy with the rule chosen by CCP.

5. Select additional labels as required

You may need to produce additional labels if there are multiple boxes being dispatched in the same consignment.

6. Decide if you wish to update the channels and complete the orders in CCP

Usually you should leave these options ticked, however you may wish to produce labels without telling the sales channel (e.g. Amazon or eBay) that the order has been dispatched, or you may not wish to remove the order from the dispatch queue at this time. You can untick these boxes as required.

7. Click the grouped shipments button

To complete the process, click the grouped shipments option. This will complete the dispatch process and combine the orders. The customer will still receive multiple confirmations and the sales channel (e.g. Amazon or eBay) will also receive multiple notifications of separate dispatches however the courier will only be booked in once to save you money.
