Ebay templates are a highly effective way to add that professional website-style touch to your listings. While writing the source code for a nice looking template might be outside the skill set of most of us, there are many companies offering pre-built and bespoke templates specifically designed for Ebay.

If you have a template you want to add to your Ebay listings, this can be done in Cloud Commerce Pro. This guide will walk you through the process.

1. Admin Centre

From the Admin Centre menu in Cloud Commerce Pro, click the "Selling" button.

2. Sales Channel List

Select the Ebay channel you want to add your template to from the sales channel list.

3. Ebay Channel

Use the search box provided to locate the listing you want to add the template to. Don't worry if you want to add it to all of your listings, as this option will be available later at the end.

4. Listing

When you have your listing, click the "Main Listing Editor" button.

5. Listing Editor

Scroll down to the bottom of the Listing Editor and find the templates section.

There are multiple ways in which you can add your template. If the template you want to add has already been uploaded to Cloud Commerce Pro, click the drop-down list to select it.

6. Upload

If your template is a file saved on your device, you have the option to upload it directly to Cloud Commerce Pro. Click the "Upload" button and find the file on your device.

7. Add New Template

To manually add a new template, click the plus button.

8. HTML Template

Using the template editor you can input the code for your new template and make changes if you wish. Click the "< >" button to begin adding your HTML code.

9. Code Editor

Copy and paste the HTML code for your new template in the box provided and click "OK" to continue.

10. Preview

If you want to get an idea of what your template will look like when rendered, click "View" and select "Preview" from the drop-down.

Once you are happy with your template, make sure to name it something familiar and then click the "Save" button at the bottom of the editor.

11. Apply Template

After saving your template, you will be given the chance to decide how it should be applied. Use the check boxes provided to either apply the template to this listing only or to all listings on the channel.

Be certain before applying a template to all listings as this can only be undone by editing each listing one by one.

Click "Yes" to finalise your choice and return to the listing editor.
