This article will explain how to use the box quantity setting.
All steps are the same as shown in this guide here: https://app.intercom.com/a/apps/hypc09lp/articles/articles/4206629/show apart from you select "Always at stock level by box quantity" as the mode and are now required to also fill in the "box quantity value".
You should only use this mode if you cannot order single units in from your supplier and have to order a box of X"
Example:
When the stock reaches 5 (the order at stock level) the system will place an order for 90 units. This is because the max stock is 100 but you can only order these items in boxes of 10. When booked in your stock level will be 95.
If it ordered you 100 units this would take you over the max stock level of 100
If you did not have the box quantity set the system would have ordered you 95 which would then bring your stock level back up to 100.
